Relationship Banker I 20 hour part-time (Clinton Main Branch)

About the role

The Relationship Banker I role at Regions is designed for individuals with prior teller, limited banking, or retail sales experience. The primary responsibility is to provide exceptional customer service, manage transactions, and assist customers in achieving their financial goals.

Responsibilities

• Handle customer transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, payments, and other typical teller activities.
• Answer customer inquiries regarding products and services, and fulfill basic servicing requests like new/replacement cards, information changes, PIN resets, and check reordering.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers, staying informed about their banking needs and preferences.
• Provide education on standard consumer products and digital solutions, such as mobile, online, and ATM offerings, to enhance the customer's banking experience.
• Aid branch and team members in resolving customer issues and refer customers to internal experts for more complex needs.
• Comply with bank processes and procedures, adhere to applicable laws and regulations, and report operational risks.
• Conduct outbound phone calls to educate customers on emerging technology and assist with meeting their financial needs.
• Track and report hours worked in excess of 40 per week, eligible for overtime under the Fair Labor Standards Act.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to work Saturdays as needed
• Ability to handle cash and process cash transactions
• Effective communication skills, both in person and through electronic channels
• Computer proficiency, including typing and sustained attention to a monitor
• Physical ability to lift up to twenty (20) pounds
