Relationship Banker
About the role
The Relationship Banker at Arvest is responsible for product sales and exceptional customer service. They develop new customer relationships and strengthen existing ones by offering appropriate products and services. The role involves providing expert product advice, assisting with self-service banking solutions, and resolving account issues according to established procedures and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to achieving branch sales goals through a consultative sales approach with new and existing customers.
- Identify and uncover customer financial needs and offer appropriate solutions.
- Refer qualified customers to specialized sales forces.
- Proactively make outbound calls to generate sales and strengthen customer relationships.
- Sell consumer loans and facilitate loan closings.
- Work effectively with the centralized underwriting department.
- Deliver consistent, exceptional customer service by acknowledging every customer promptly, greeting them, and addressing their questions and concerns.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of products and services, including digital services and delivery options.
- Support customer usage of products and services that meet their needs.
- Participate in branch promotions and marketing initiatives as directed.
- Use sound judgment in applying bank standards, policies, and procedures.
- Understand and comply with bank policy, laws, regulations, and the bank's BSA/AML Program.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Current NMLS SAFE Act Registration or the ability to register within 30 days required.
- Demonstrated sales and customer service experience preferred.
- Financial service provider experience preferred.
- College degree preferred for Level 3.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Defined competencies of Level 1 required for Level 2.
- Successful achievement of defined competencies of Level 2 or relevant related experience required for Level 3.

Pay
Pay is based on a number of factors including the successful candidate’s job-related knowledge and skills, qualifications, and prior experience. The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.95 per hour.
Schedule
The position is located in 230 W Broadway, Muskogee, OK 74401. Availability is needed Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 6:00 pm and occasional Saturdays 8:30 am to 1:30 pm.
