Relationship Banker
About the role
The Relationship Banker at Arvest is responsible for product sales and exceptional customer service. The position involves developing new customer relationships, strengthening existing relationships, and providing expert product advice.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to achieving branch sales goals through a consultative sales approach with new and existing customers.
- Identify and uncover the customer's financial needs and offer appropriate solutions.
- Refer qualified customers to specialized sales forces.
- Proactively make outbound calls to generate sales and strengthen customer relationships.
- Sell consumer loans, accept consumer loan applications, and facilitate loan closings.
- Work effectively with the centralized underwriting department.
- Deliver consistent, exceptional customer service by acknowledging every customer promptly, greeting them, and resolving complaints.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of products and services, including digital services and delivery options.
- Support customer usage of products and services that meet their needs.
- Participate in branch promotions and marketing initiatives as directed.
- Use sound judgment in applying bank standards, policies, and procedures.
- Understand and comply with bank policy, laws, regulations, and the bank's BSA/AML Program.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.
- Current NMLS SAFE Act Registration or the ability to be registered within 30 days required.
- Demonstrated sales and customer service experience preferred.
- Financial service provider experience preferred.
- College degree preferred for Level 3.
Qualifications
- Level 1: High School Diploma or GED required. Current NMLS SAFE Act Registration or the ability to be registered within 30 days required.
- Level 2: Achievement of defined competencies of Level 1 required. Current NMLS SAFE Act Registration or the ability to be registered within 30 days required.
- Level 3: Successful achievement of defined competencies of Level 2 or relevant related experience required. Current NMLS SAFE Act Registration or the ability to be registered within 30 days required.

Pay
Pay is based on a number of factors including the successful candidate’s job-related knowledge and skills, qualifications, and prior experience. The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.95 per hour.
Schedule
The Position is based at 1900 S. Douglas Blvd, Midwest City, OK 73130. Position requires flexible availability to work Monday through Thursday between the hours of 8:00 am to 5:30 pm, Friday 8:00 am to 6:30 pm and Saturdays 8:00 am to 1:30 pm.
