Relationship Advisor (Floater)

About the role

We are looking for a service-driven Relationship Advisor (Floater) to support members across branch operations in Tallahassee, Florida. This Long-term Contract opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys building trust, guiding individuals toward helpful financial solutions, and creating a welcoming experience in a busy branch setting. The person in this role will handle everyday banking needs, promote digital and product awareness, and contribute to smooth day-to-day operations while maintaining a high standard of professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Build strong member connections by learning about financial needs and suggesting suitable banking products and services.
• Guide members through account options, digital banking tools, and self-service resources that support everyday financial management.
• Handle routine and complex transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, and account updates for consumer and business accounts.
• Move between teller and platform responsibilities based on branch volume, staffing needs, and service demands.
• Contribute to membership and deposit growth by identifying service opportunities and recommending relevant savings solutions.
• Follow security and compliance procedures to protect member information, reduce operational exposure, and recognize suspicious activity.
• Take part in outbound outreach efforts to increase engagement, strengthen relationships, and uncover additional service needs.
• Assist with opening and closing activities, resolve balancing differences when needed, and support overall branch workflow.
• Partner with team members to meet service expectations, maintain branch coverage, and support assigned operational projects.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least one year of experience in banking, customer service, retail sales, call center support, or another client-facing role involving cash handling.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with a wide range of individuals.
• Demonstrated ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
• Comfort using computers, typing regularly, and navigating Microsoft Office along with banking or financial service systems.
• Commitment to delivering excellent customer service with sound judgment, integrity, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work a permanent schedule with flexibility from Monday through Saturday based on business needs.
• Experience supporting multiple locations or adapting quickly to changing branch assignments is preferred.
