About the role

The Extended School Year (ESY) Summer Program provides mandated services and instruction for students with significant learning and developmental needs who require extended-year programming to prevent regression.

Responsibilities

• Create individualized learning tasks aligned with the essential curriculum and each student's IEP goals.
• Deliver both group and individual services.
• Complete Medicaid documentation and other required records.

Qualifications

• Applicants must possess the appropriate NYS Teacher Certification.
• Preference in appointment will be given to Rush-Henrietta teachers.

Benefits

• Salary per RHEA Teachers' Contract (summer school "enhanced full load" rate).
• Article 26, Section 8.

Schedule

• Vollmer Elementary School: 8:00 to 12:30 p.m., plus ½ hour paid planning time.
• Rush-Henrietta Senior High School: 7:30 to 12:00 p.m., plus ½ hour paid planning time.
