About the role

Pennsylvania Hospital is seeking a full-time Clinical Pharmacy Specialist, Emergency Medicine. This position is responsible for provision of comprehensive medication management for patients under the care of the Emergency Department.

Responsibilities

• Serves as a resource to Pennsylvania Hospital on best practices, evidence-based guidelines, emerging therapies, transitions in care, optimal pharmacologic management, effective medication reconciliation, and other pharmaceutical services
• Collaborates on hospital and health system committees, workgroups, and initiatives
• Reports to the Associate Director, Professional Practice
