Reinsurance Financial Analyst $63,273-$78,447 minimum starting pay Job Level: Individual Contributor Shelter maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in geographic location, education, training, skills, relevant work experience, business needs and market demands. Please remember that this range is the starting base pay only and does not consider other components that make up the total rewards package for the position. What You Will Be Doing Analyze, record, and maintain premium, loss, and expense data for ceded reinsurance at Shelter Insurance Companies. Support system enhancements, process improvements, and complex reconciliations. Maintain strong knowledge of reinsurance principles, BI tools, and financial systems. Mentor junior staff and collaborate cross-functionally to drive operational efficiency. Due to the duties and responsibilities of this position, a Credit Bureau Report may be ordered on final candidates. What We're Looking For Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field; typically requiredProficient in Microsoft Excel, Workday, SICS Reinsurance system, and BI reporting toolsStrong analytical, mathematical, organizational, and statistical skillsProven attention to detail and data accuracyExcellent written and verbal communication skills for collaboration with internal and external stakeholdersExcellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines while ensuring data integrityAbility to follow instructions, accept supervision, and work cooperatively with othersTypically requires a minimum of two years’ experience in the accounting fieldDemonstrated leadership skills with the ability to mentor, train, and support junior team membersAbility to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without a reasonable accommodation Benefits Shelter's uncompromising commitment to excellence doesn't stop with our customers.
