Reimbursement Recovery Specialist - full-time days

Responsible for identifying and recovering hospital underpayments from insurance payors, ensuring accurate reimbursement in alignment with contract terms. Actively participates in payer meetings and calls to address payment discrepancies, drive resolution, and promote ongoing compliance with facility reimbursement requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associates degree or Bachelors preferred.
• Minimum of two years related healthcare or insurance company experience required.
• Knowledge of MS Office Applications, especially MS Excel© and MS Word© required.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Advanced knowledge of insurance contracts, managed care and government reimbursement terms, and billing regulations preferred.
• Prior experience with financial systems or contract management system preferred.

Pay

Hourly $27.98 - $41.97

Schedule

Full-time / 40 hours per week
Monday - Friday / 8am to 5pm
