Responsibilities
- Patient care, support, and guidance
- Execute plans of care under guidance of PT/OT providers
- Proper set up and adjustment of exercise equipment
- Aid in set up and delivery of modalities (e.g., electrical stimulation, ultrasound, hot/cold packs, etc.)
- Utilize appropriate educational techniques including demonstration and cueing to ensure patient understanding of exercises
- Maintain patient safety and monitor response to exercise intensity
- Discuss patient performance with PT/OT provider
- Clinic flow
- Monitor patient arrivals to department
- Start patients on time for scheduled appointments/keep patients apprised of any clinician delays
- Maintain cleanliness of clinic, including waiting areas, exam rooms, and all equipment
- Order all supplies to keep clinic stocked, under direction from Manager
- Front end tasks
- Perform necessary front-end tasks including but not limited to check-in, co-pay/financial responsibility collection, answering phones, and scheduling future appointments
- Communicate via chat with PT/OT and Chiropractic referral team regarding patient insurance benefits
- Schedule management for clinicians (i.e., patient confirmation calls, rescheduling patients as needed)
- CPR certification required (certification offered through Duly Health and Care)
- High School Diploma
- Knowledge of common medical terminology and abbreviations
- Understand principles, as well as contraindications/precautions in the use of therapy modalities
- Identify proper patient set-up on each piece of equipment with the ability to adjust
- Identify planes of movement and demonstrate proper exercise positioning
- Team-oriented

The compensation for this role includes a base pay range of $15.10-18.00 with the actual pay determined by factors such as skills, experience, education, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. Additional compensation may be available through shift differentials, bonuses, and other incentives.
