Rehabilitation Aide, Inpatient Rehab Unit

Purpose & Scope

The Rehabilitation Aide for the Inpatient Rehabilitation Center performs initial charge entry and reconciliations. Responsibilities include completing weekly inventory and ordering supplies as needed; transporting patients, assisting personnel with transferring patients/materials; assisting therapists by setting up and cleaning treatment areas, including setting patients up on modalities/exercise equipment per direction of therapists; performing assigned messenger duties; and other duties as assigned.

Education

A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Computer experience is required. One year of medical office experience is preferred.

Certification/Licensure

BLS certification is required.
