About the role

Join Encompass Health, a rapidly growing national inpatient rehabilitation leader, where you'll play an integral role in supporting rehabilitation therapists and delivering exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain equipment for therapy sessions.
• Maintain a safe working environment for patients and staff.
• Collaborate with therapists and nurses to ensure patient safety and effective treatment delivery.
• Communicate with patients, families, and caregivers to facilitate effective patient care.
• Prepare and transport patients according to the patient schedule.
• Communicate observations and outcomes of patient care activities to therapists.

Qualifications

• CPR certification preferred (unless hospital policy requires otherwise).
• A High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completed elements required for clinical ladder Rehab Tech I or equivalent training in school or on-the-job training.
