About the role

Join Encompass Health, a rapidly growing national inpatient rehabilitation leader, where you can make a meaningful impact on patient rehabilitation. You'll play an integral role in supporting rehabilitation therapists and delivering exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

• Set up equipment and maintain a safe working environment.
• Collaborate closely with therapists and nurses to ensure effective communication with patients, families, and caregivers.
• Facilitate patient safety and deliver patient-centered treatment.
• Prepare and transport patients according to the patient schedule.
• Communicate outcomes/observations of patient care activities to therapists.

Qualifications

• CPR certification preferred (unless hospital policy requires otherwise).
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Completed elements required for clinical ladder Rehab Tech I or equivalent training in school or on-the-job training.
