Responsibilities
- Efficiently manage mobile rehabilitation services in your assigned market and assist in integrating rehabilitation services across all settings.
- Ensure the highest standard of rehabilitation services is delivered and maintained.
- Assume responsibility for the efficient and profitable management of rehabilitation services in assigned site(s).
- Oversee market relations and program growth in your assigned market.
- Provide direct patient care.
- Monitor the standard of clinical services delivered and maintained in all locations within the market, ensuring an ethical and compliant product.
- Manage Powerback Rehabilitation personnel and consultants within facility or home environments.
- Ensure accountability to the provision of evidence-based care and adherence to care delivery standards.
- Review monthly market and individual therapist outcomes; support staff in identifying strategies to improve outcomes.
- Assist therapy staff in identifying and removing barriers to treatment and providing clinical education to meet patient needs.
- Develop and support all staff in your site through rounding, coaching, and mentoring.
- Conduct annual merit evaluations of therapy staff within your assigned market.
- Hire therapy staff (in conjunction with the Clinical Operations Area Director) within your assigned market.
- Oversee daily staffing and utilization with input from treating therapists, considering clinical requirements and recommendations from the Clinical Director.
- Administer financial controls of revenue and expenses.
- Prepare and review facility reports on a weekly and monthly basis.
- Assist the Clinical Operations Area Director in annual budget preparation.
- Meet annual budget goals as set by the Clinical Operations Area Director.
- Assist with clinical orientation and ensure a quality orientation process for new rehab staff within your market.
- Support the delivery of the highest standard of rehab services through appropriate utilization of resources, promotion of clinical programs, and staff development in collaboration with licensed therapists, the Clinical Operations Area Director, and the Clinical Director.
- Promote all Powerback Rehabilitation products and services whenever possible.
- Develop and maintain relationships with referral sources and staff as a representative of Powerback Rehabilitation.
- Oversee the clinical management of the rehab department, including case management, quality improvement, care planning, clinical utilization, and patient identification.
- Complete monthly reports and formally review them with facility administration.
- Perform other related duties as required.
Requirements
- Degree in a rehabilitation discipline (PT, OT, PTA, COTA) required.
- Licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required by the state of practice.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- For the Market Director level: three years of direct patient care experience and either one year of management experience in a rehabilitation setting or successful function as a point person under the supervision of a Clinical Operations Area Director for one year.
- Thorough knowledge of Medicare and third-party billing is required.
