Rehab Therapy Extern

About the role

SSM Rehabilitation Hospital is a joint venture with Select Medical & SSM*. The position is located in Bridgeton and involves providing therapy to patients at the Rehabilitation Therapy Extern level, earning $18 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in the rehabilitation process through provision of requested activities.
• Prepare and maintain equipment and the physical plant for daily activities.

Requirements

• Candidate must be available for multiple weekend shifts per month.
• Candidate must be a current student accepted in an ST, OT, or PT program.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an approved Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Speech-Language Pathology program.

Skills

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Passion for patient care and rehabilitation.
