Responsibilities
- Help physical therapists provide care to patients.
- Ensure clients are seen in a timely manner with no backlogs.
- Provide supervised assistance to patients during their sessions.
- Sanitize rooms and equipment after each client.
- Assist the therapist in administering patient care and maintaining a smooth flow of patients through the clinic and gym.
- With supervision, set up patients on modalities and assist with their exercise programs.
- Clean tables and equipment between patients.
- Assist with clerical, administrative, and some laundry duties as needed.
Requirements
- High school graduate or GED.
- Great communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Working toward a physical therapy or athletic training degree.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
