Rehab Technician

About the role

Part-time, 10 hours per week (one 10-hour shift per week) scheduled Monday–Friday between 7 AM and 7 PM onsite in Medina, OH.

Responsibilities

• Patient registration duties: scheduling, answering phones, checking in/out patients, collecting co-pays, etc.
• Department upkeep: preparing treatment areas and submitting work orders.
• Equipment maintenance, assembly, and disassembly.
• Track inventory and stock supplies.
• Video recording therapy sessions.
• Transport patients to/from therapy sessions.
• Provide direct/indirect patient care under therapist supervision (casting, transfers, toileting, dressing, bathing, positioning, gait training, assistance with groups, etc.).
• Coordinate care between disciplines, providers, and family.
• Demonstrate knowledge and skills to meet the physical, psychological, social, educational, and safety needs of patients served regardless of age.
• Other duties as required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience preferred.
• BLS certification required within first 90 days of employment.

Skills

• Experience in a rehab setting working with children who are medically fragile or have disabilities is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills required.
• Experience working with all levels within an organization required.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) or similar software required.
