Job Summary

As a Rehab Tech, you will assist licensed therapists in providing therapeutic care and support to patients undergoing rehabilitation. Your responsibilities include preparing treatment areas, helping patients with exercises and mobility, managing equipment, and maintaining a safe and organized clinical environment as delegated.

Responsibilities

• Patient Assistance: assists the therapist in the treatment of patients; transfers, transports, and assists patients to therapies according to patient schedules; implements the plan of care in a thorough and complete manner under the direction of the therapist including patient preparation, gait training, functional training, exercise therapy, and ADL functions.
• Cleaning: keeps all treatment areas and equipment clean and orderly; performs routine housekeeping as required; maintains all cleaning and temperature logs.
• Clerical: records clearly and completely all therapy treatments and time with patients on the appropriate forms; manages transmission and receipt of pertinent medical records; performs light clerical duties as required.
• Communication: encourages, educates, and assists patients to reach their maximum functional level; ensures confidentiality of all patient information; communicates in a respectful and courteous manner.
• Safety: demonstrates proper body mechanics when performing tasks and seeks assistance when needed; utilizes universal precautions when appropriate.

Requirements

• Required High School Graduate General Studies, upon hire or High School GED General Studies, upon hire
• Basic Life Support - CPR, within 14 - days

Pay Range

$15.00 - $19.64 /hour
