About the Role
This position is responsible for coordinating all inpatient admissions to the rehabilitation unit and will assist in promoting the programs and services of Baptist Inpatient Rehabilitation. This individual must have the necessary skills to evaluate patients and make summary decisions on admissions with final clearance to be obtained by the rehabilitation physiatrists. The role also involves leading and supervising all nurse liaisons in the field, enhancing employee engagement and growth, and maintaining relationships with physicians and referral sources. The admission process will be analyzed monthly and presented to the administrative director with recommendations for improvement.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate all inpatient admissions to the rehabilitation unit.
- Promote the programs and services of Baptist Inpatient Rehabilitation.
- Evaluate patients and make summary decisions on admissions (final clearance by rehabilitation physiatrists).
- Lead and supervise nurse liaisons in the field.
- Enhance employee engagement and growth.
- Maintain relationships with physicians and referral sources.
- Analyze the admission process monthly and present findings with recommendations for improvement to the administrative director.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
- Certification related to area of specialty.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
- Excellent communication and critical thinking skills.
- Bilingual (required).

Pay
Estimated salary range for this position is $80,516.80 - $107,087.34 per year, depending on experience.
