Rehab Director- PT

About the role

You serve as the primary Legacy representative at the facility, promoting Legacy policies, clinical programs and supporting our mission to help aging adults live safe, healthy lives full of strength, movement, and joy.

Responsibilities

• Builds relationships with patients, staff, and community leaders.
• Manages internal marketing efforts to foster relationships and keep community leaders informed about Legacy’s programs.
• Oversees site productivity and makes necessary changes to meet budget goals.
• Maintains a caseload to assist the rehab department in meeting standards.
• Affirms patient needs and develops clinical programs appropriate for the facility census.
• Directs and trains others in clinical service delivery across disciplines.
• Daily coordinates with rehab department and facility staff to plan and implement therapy programming.
• Participates in clinical outcomes reporting and shares results with customers.
• Creates and maintains team relationships and open communication with rehab staff, facility staff, and Legacy corporate personnel.

Requirements

• Desirable Monday-Friday schedule with no weekend or holiday requirements.
• Minimum of a degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent experience.
• Licensed and registered (PT, PTA, OT, COTA, SLP) in the state where assigned.

Qualifications

• Three to five years’ experience in long-term care (LTC) or senior living.
• Some prior supervisory experience preferred but not required.

Skills

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Experience with clinical documentation and compliance.
• Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques and protocols.

Pay

USD $44.00 - USD $50.00 /Hr.

Schedule

Monday-Friday schedule with no weekend or holiday requirements.
