About the role
You serve as the primary Legacy representative at the facility, promoting Legacy policies, clinical programs and supporting our mission to help aging adults live safe, healthy lives full of strength, movement, and joy.
Responsibilities
- Builds relationships with patients, staff, and community leaders.
- Oversees internal marketing efforts to build relationships with staff and residents.
- Maintains a caseload to assist the rehab department in meeting standards.
- Affirms patient needs and develops clinical programs appropriate for the facility census.
- Directs and trains others in clinical service delivery across disciplines.
- Daily coordinates rehab department with facility staff to plan and implement therapy programming.
- Participates in clinical outcomes reporting and shares with the customer.
- Manages staff schedules to meet caseload requirements and utilizes the scheduling tools for patient schedules.
- Manages CliniFax and all requirements of physician signatures on the therapy plan of cares.
- Creates and maintains team relationships and open communication with and between rehab staff, facility staff, and Legacy corporate personnel.
- Assists with orientation/training for staff with guidance and assistance from ARD/MSM to meet company, state and federal standards.
Requirements
- Desirable Monday-Friday schedule with no weekend or holiday requirements.
Qualifications
- Clinical background as a Physical Therapist (PT), Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA), Occupational Therapist (OT), Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), or Speech Language Pathologies (SLP).
- Three to five years’ experience in long-term care (LTC) or senior living.
- Some prior supervisory experience preferred but not required.
- Minimum of a degree from accredited college or university or equivalent experience (i.e., degree in PT, PTA, OT, COTA, SLP).
- Licensed and registered (PT, PTA, OT, COTA, SLP) in state where assigned.
