Responsibilities

• Provides assistance to Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapy Assistants, and Occupational Therapy Assistants on inpatient transfers and gait
• Cleans outpatient department including linen changes and supply organization
• Provides appropriate assistance without outpatient treatments
• Orientates new aides
• When given specific and additional training, provides assistance to Occupational Therapist with inpatient treatments under supervision for activities of daily living and therapeutic activities

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Preferred Qualifications: One (1) or more years of physical therapy aide experience; Basic computer skills and knowledge of Word processing software

Pay

Salary range: $23.25 per hour (both minimum and maximum). Placement within the range is based on specific skills, qualifications, relevant experience, and internal equity; most new hires are placed below the midpoint.
