Rehab Aide - Inpatient Rehab (Full-Time, Days)

Position Summary

The Rehab Aide is responsible for providing support to the Physical and Occupational Therapist in the performance of routine duties. These duties include but are not limited to, assistance with patient care, clerical, and housekeeping tasks.

Desired EDUCATION / TRAINING / EXPERIENCE

Experience with direct patient care. Degree, or working towards degree completion, in a patient care field (such as occupational therapy, physical therapy, exercise physiology, etc)

MINIMUM LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS

Current CPR recognition

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities

• Personable, compassionate and caring individual with a willingness to learn new tasks
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Flexible, reliable, self-motivated and possesses positive problem solving skills
• Works effectively with staff and public
• Can fulfill the essential functions of the position
