Rehab Aide

About the role

Are you passionate about helping patients on their rehabilitation journey? Do you enjoy working in an outpatient physical therapy setting? Come join our team as a rehab aide! In this role, you will assist our therapists in carrying out our rehabilitation procedures and play an integral role in supporting our center operations.

Responsibilities

• Aide therapists in carrying out rehabilitation procedures
• Organize, schedule, and keep records of ancillary services and support other center-specific functions
• Observe and report any abnormal patient conditions, reactions, or responses to treatment
• Play a significant role in a specific area of center operations (e.g., scheduling ancillary services and following up, overseeing a specific program, serving as OSHA coordinator, etc.)
• Clean, sterilize, and prepare equipment

Requirements

• Associate's Degree in an OT Assistant program required
• Current and valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) required
• Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification
• Class E license allowing for the operation of the shuttle bus prior to start date

Preferred Qualifications

• CPR certification
• First aid certification
• Prior experience in an outpatient physical therapy center

Pay

Starts at $18/hour, increases based on experience.

Schedule

Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
