Rehab Aide

Responsibilities

• Assist the OT/PT in patient treatment as directed by the therapist.
• Absorb clerical and housekeeping duties as assigned by the supervisor.
• Support the licensed therapist in supervising patients in group settings.

Requirements

• Good general health and emotional stability.
• Ability to bend, lift, assist with transfers and ambulation.
• Adequate physical strength to assist with resistive activities.
• On-the-job training in use of equipment and departmental methods and procedures.
• Dependable, conscientious, and sincere interest.
• Ability to relate well to others and work with patients of all ages.
• Bilingual (Spanish) preferred at selected sites.
