Rehab Aide - 32 hours, Evenings

Major Responsibilities

• Performs selected patient treatment activities under the direction of a licensed therapist or assistant.
• Affords assistance with transfers, ambulation, exercise completion, and hot/cold treatments.
• Assists with clerical tasks such as answering phones, registering patients, scheduling appointments, collecting copayments, and insurance verification.
• Prepares, maintains, and cleans treatment areas according to departmental protocols.
• Orders supplies and monitors inventory levels.
• Participates in peer reviews as assigned by the Rehabilitation Manager.

Position Qualifications

• Completion of four years of high school required.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience working in a healthcare setting preferred.
