Regulatory Reporting Manager
Job Summary
As a Regulatory Reporting Manager within the Escheatment Department, you will oversee the end-to-end process of reporting and remitting abandoned property for JPMorgan Securities LLC. You will serve as a key liaison between internal and external stakeholders, ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of all reporting activities. In this role, you will coordinate large-scale operational initiatives, identify automation opportunities, and support the development of new compliance programs. You will thrive in a deadline-driven environment, leveraging your analytical skills and leadership experience to deliver results and foster a collaborative team culture.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage the process of reporting and remitting abandoned property across multiple lines of business and product types
- Act as an intermediary between internal and external stakeholders, building and maintaining critical relationships
- Coordinate large-scale remittance of various product types to multiple states under strict regulatory deadlines
- Utilize proprietary and industry-standard data management tools to identify and implement automation opportunities
- Lead challenging projects, promote process streamlining, and support the career development of direct and matrix reports
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency for all reporting purposes
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills
- Ability to analyze complex and ambiguous issues and recommend creative solutions
- Obtain Series 99 within 180 days of hire
- Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with a focus on risk mitigation and efficiency
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to foster a collaborative and positive work environment
- Demonstrated track record of improving processes, meeting goals, and managing competing priorities with diverse stakeholders
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office products (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
- Data and analytical experience, including proficiency with pivot tables and VLOOKUP
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills
- Proven ability to manage complex projects and drive process improvements
- Five or more years of experience in the financial services industry, preferably in operations; management experience is a plus
- Familiarity with automation, data analysis, and data visualization tools (e.g., UiPath, Alteryx, Tableau, SAS, Python)
- Escheatment experience is highly preferred
