About the role
We are seeking a Regulatory Engineer or Senior Regulatory Engineer to support nuclear plant operations at a power station.
Responsibilities
- Perform regulatory and technical tasks with minimal supervision, ensuring compliance with industry codes, licensing basis, and regulatory requirements.
- Support regulatory assurance activities such as corrective actions, self-assessments, NRC compliance, and communication with regulatory bodies.
- Manage dry cask storage programs, including licensing, inspections, and issue resolution.
- Contribute to process improvements and support day-to-day site operations, including safety review and inspection planning.
- Communicate site issues with regulatory significance to relevant departments.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field.
- For Engineer level: minimum of 2 years of experience; for Senior Engineer: at least 6 years.
- Effective communication skills.
- Maintain unescorted access and pass medical testing.
Preferred Qualifications
- Nuclear power experience.
- Engineer in Training certification.
- Previous nuclear operator certification.
