Regulatory Consultant Associate -Consultant Senior
Job Summary
Regulatory professional who possesses a basic understanding of business principles and with an expanding regulatory knowledge for the business functions supported, and to obtain proficiency in the application of theory to analyze and solve straight-forward problems with support, guidance, and direction from higher level personnel.
What You'll Do:
- Assists in the assembly of basic data to support any of the following, as related to the applicable function: cost-of-service studies, load research, computerization support, rate case filings, special contracts, and technical papers.
- Conducts research and supplies information as requested through the assistance of more senior team members.
- Accomplish assigned project and process work according to the plan and schedule established by higher-level employees.
- Performs assigned tasks to develop problem solving and decision-making in area of specialization.
- Develops, through assigned work, a basic knowledge of regulatory matters for the applicable regulatory function performed.
- Support the preparation and presentation of complex regulatory subjects and strategies to management and/or regulatory bodies.
What We're Looking For:
- Education/Experience (Regulatory Consultant Associate - entry level and willing to train): Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university OR Associate's degree from an accredited college or university AND 2 years relevant field, operations or analytical experience OR High School diploma or GED AND 4 years relevant field, operations or analytical experience.
- Education/Experience (Regulatory Consultant): Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university OR Associate's degree from an accredited college or university AND 4 years relevant field, operations or analytical experience OR High School diploma or GED AND 6 years relevant field, operations or analytical experience.
- Education/Experience (Regulatory Consultant Senior): Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university OR Associate's degree from an accredited college or university AND 6 years relevant field, operations or analytical experience OR High School diploma or GED AND 8 years relevant field, operations or analytical experience.
Other Must Haves:
- Proficiency with spreadsheets is required.
- Proficient oral and written communication skills.
- Must possess analytical problem-solving skills.

Physical Demands:
Sedentary Work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
