Key Responsibilities

  • Research and interpret California State regulations related to school facility funding.
  • Identify and evaluate available funding opportunities.
  • Prepare and submit accurate grant applications and all related documentation.
  • Prepare and/or support preparation of expense reports for auditors.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, attorneys, CPAs, and administrative agencies to gather required information.
  • Maintain organized records of all grant-related materials.
  • Work with IT staff to define data requirements and support grant tracking systems.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively across departments to ensure compliance with funding guidelines.
  • Understand financial and project management software systems.
  • Familiarity with OPSC and CDE online systems.
  • Knowledge of eligibility establishment and update.
  • Analyze problems and propose solutions related to funding and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree + 6 Years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
  • 7 years of experience with California state funding programs.
  • Deep understanding of public-school facility program regulations and public construction requirements.
  • Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with coding concepts and database structures.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Solid Excel and spreadsheet experience.

Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The range for this position is $86,000 to $158,000 per year.
