What You Will Do
- Review food, beverage, dietary supplement, cosmetic, and OTC product labels and packaging for FDA and FTC compliance.
- Review Supplement Facts and Nutrition Facts panels.
- Review Principal Display Panel requirements.
- Review OTC monograph conformance.
- Review substantiation of structure/function claims.
- Review marketing claims.
- Support the firm's consumer class action and false advertising department on defense of these matters.
- Draft and negotiate commercial agreements (co-packing agreements, MSAs, vendor and supplier terms).
- Manage product compliance documentation for clients entering the U.S. market, and coordinate with outside and specialty counsel where matters fall outside scope.
- Produce client-ready written work product: opinion summaries and compliance recommendations.
What We Require
- Active bar license in good standing in any state.
- Minimum 5-7 years of practice, with demonstrated substantive experience.
- Ability to draft finished, client-facing work product with minimal revision.
- Comfort working remotely.
- Comfort managing your own matter deadlines.
