The Regulatory Affairs team is seeking a highly motivated individual with a passion for utility regulation and an appetite for career growth. This is an excellent opportunity for a regulatory professional who wants to take on meaningful, high-impact work in a growing organization. We are hiring at either the Senior Regulatory Analyst or Manager, Regulatory Affairs level — the title and level of accountability will be determined based on the successful candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and support regulatory applications, filings, responses to data requests, utility arguments, and related materials
  • Collaborate with finance, operations, accounting, legal, tax, treasury, and external advisors to support regulatory proceedings
  • Develop, update, and review financial models and analyses that inform regulatory submissions
  • Help ensure regulatory deadlines, compliance filings, tariff updates, and reporting obligations are met
  • Conduct research and provide regulatory guidance in support of proceedings, customer matters, and internal business needs
  • Represent Corix in regulatory proceedings, hearings, and external meetings as required
  • Support business development activities, including acquisitions, RFP responses, feasibility studies, and due diligence
  • Monitor regulatory and legislative developments affecting Corix’s utilities and operations
  • This position may also include assignments involving Canadian regulators.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Minimum 4–6 years of experience with regulated utilities (level-dependent)
  • Experience appearing before regulatory commissions
  • Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret legislation, policies, rules, and guidelines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in a related field
  • CPA, CFA, PE, or equivalent professional designation

Working Conditions

  • Hybrid work environment, with work-from-home flexibility
  • Periodic travel within US jurisdictions required
  • Occasional travel to Vancouver, Canada may be required
