About the Role

Support compliance and accreditation activities within a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with mock surveys, process tracers, and developing tracers.
  • Analyze and report tracer findings using clinical expertise.
  • Maintain knowledge of regulations from CMS, The Joint Commission, and state health departments.
  • Interpret standards related to hospital, laboratory, and ambulatory care.
  • Develop and deliver educational programs on compliance trends.
  • Collaborate with leaders, physicians, and staff to identify risks and develop corrective action plans.
  • Conduct tracers and audits to improve processes and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Support survey preparation, documentation submission, and post-survey activities.

Requirements

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (preferred).
  • Valid RN license (Compact or single-state).
  • Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in an acute care setting (5 years preferred).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, data management, and abstraction.
  • CPHQ certification preferred.
