About the Role
Support compliance and accreditation activities within a healthcare setting.
Responsibilities
- Assist with mock surveys, process tracers, and developing tracers.
- Analyze and report tracer findings using clinical expertise.
- Maintain knowledge of regulations from CMS, The Joint Commission, and state health departments.
- Interpret standards related to hospital, laboratory, and ambulatory care.
- Develop and deliver educational programs on compliance trends.
- Collaborate with leaders, physicians, and staff to identify risks and develop corrective action plans.
- Conduct tracers and audits to improve processes and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Support survey preparation, documentation submission, and post-survey activities.
Requirements
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (preferred).
- Valid RN license (Compact or single-state).
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in an acute care setting (5 years preferred).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, data management, and abstraction.
- CPHQ certification preferred.
