Overview Registration Specialist - Cardiology Clinic Schedule: Monday - Friday | 8:45-5:15 (Onsite) No weekends or major holidays About The Role Join a fast-paced cardiology clinic that serves approximately 150 patients daily. As a Registration Specialist, you will be the first point of contact for patients and play a vital role in ensuring a positive patient experience. You will support registration, scheduling, check-in/check-out, insurance verification, and customer service functions that help keep clinic operations running smoothly while supporting timely patient care and accurate reimbursement. Key Responsibilities Register patients and maintain accurate demographic and insurance informationVerify insurance coverage and eligibilitySchedule appointments and manage patient flowCheck patients in and out efficiently and accuratelyCollect payments and explain charges and clinic policies as neededCollaborate closely with medical assistants, nurses, and providers to support clinic operationsEnsure accurate documentation to maximize reimbursement and support positive clinical outcomes Top Skills Attention to detailInitiative and problem-solvingCustomer service and patient-focused communication Requirements: High School Diploma/GED is required.Prefer relevant experience in a health care setting. Requires ability to interpret insurance information; knowledge of clinical practices and medical terminology preferred. Manage patient check-in and check-out processes Provide excellent customer service through patient and provider interactions Basic proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
