About the Role

The Registration Specialist assists patients during the on-site registration and arrival process for scheduled and unscheduled visits, and completes financial clearance functions. They also greet and serve patients and internal team members professionally, fostering positive interactions.

Responsibilities

• Collect accurate demographic and insurance information for scheduled and unscheduled visits
• Handle patient financial obligations at the time of service
• Greet and serve patients and internal team members professionally
• Multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Work independently and collaboratively in a team
• Use computers and computer systems proficiently
• Travel between sites and work extended hours as needed

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Preferred: 1-2 years related experience

• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to work with the public and co-workers
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Able to work independently and collaboratively
• Proficient in using computers and computer systems
