About the role
Careerscape is supporting a client opening for an Entry-Level Registration Specialist. This role focuses on registering clients, patients, or customers, verifying personal and insurance information, maintaining accurate records, processing documentation, and providing excellent front-line administrative support in an on-site environment. Compensation
The salary range for this role is $50,000 - $70,000 per year, based on experience, communication skills, organizational abilities, and client hiring needs. Additional compensation and benefits details will be shared during the hiring process.
What you’ll do
- Register new clients, patients, or customers accurately
- Verify personal, demographic, and insurance information
- Maintain and update electronic registration records
- Process registration forms and supporting documentation
- Answer questions regarding registration procedures
- Schedule appointments and coordinate registration activities
- Ensure data accuracy and confidentiality
- Absorb document collection and record verification
- Resolve registration discrepancies when identified
- Collaborate with internal departments to support daily operations
- Prepare registration reports and administrative documentation
- Perform additional registration and administrative duties as assigned
We’re looking for
- A high school diploma or equivalent required
- An associate's or bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred
- 0–2 years of experience in administration, customer service, registration, front desk, office support, or related roles
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and basic database systems
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Professional, dependable, and confidential mindset
Nice to have
- Internship or entry-level administrative experience
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) or registration software
- Experience with Microsoft Excel or scheduling systems
- Knowledge of insurance verification procedures
