About the Role

Responsible for patient registration, insurance verification, and access functions within designated areas.

Responsibilities

• Provide reception services and ensure courteous, efficient customer routing.
• Communicate effectively with hospital departments and physician offices.
• Screen patients for updates or new visits.
• Assist patients with forms and provide service information.
• Operate the switchboard in a professional manner.
• Serve as a point of contact to facilitate smooth patient flow.
• Multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Experience with computers and Electronic Health Records (EHR).
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Ability to maintain accuracy under interruptions.
• Sound judgment and stress management skills.
• Clerical experience preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology is a plus.
• Bilingual skills are advantageous.
• Demonstrate behaviors aligned with organizational values such as teamwork, compassion, integrity, and service excellence.
