The Registration Liaison plays a crucial role in ensuring a positive patient experience at UTMC. They assist in navigating patients and visitors through the registration process and direct them to the appropriate departments for services. Additionally, they provide general information and communicate effectively to optimize patient flow and customer service.
Responsibilities
- Aid in patient and visitor navigation and satisfaction
- Assist in patient flow through the registration process
- Provide general information to hospital users, patients, and families
- Communicate effectively to service delivery areas to maximize patient flow and customer service outcomes
- Ensure patients have a positive patient-centered experience at UTMC
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills, oral and written
- Experience in internet navigation, word processing, and standard computer manipulation
- Experience with Word and Excel
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to handle confrontation
- Ability to build and maintain professional, service-oriented relationships with various stakeholders
- Ability to enter data, perform multiple tasks, and work independently
- Understanding and compliance with policies and procedures
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Collaborative working relationship with a high-performance team of professionals
Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years' experience in customer service role
