Registration Coordinator - FT-Nights

About the Role

In this highly technical, fast-paced, and rewarding position, you'll collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to provide the very best care for patients. The primary purpose of the Registration Coordinator position is to collect accurate demographic, financial, and basic medical information from patients and/or their designee in a timely and professional manner.

Methodist Southwest Medical Center, previously known as Methodist Charlton Medical Center, is a 314-bed, full-service, acute care teaching hospital serving Cedar Hill, DeSoto, Duncanville, Lancaster, and Glen Heights in southwestern Dallas County. The facility includes a newly expanded emergency department, renovated intensive care and labor/delivery units, a Level III Trauma Center, a Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, and specialized oncology services. The hospital is recognized for excellence in cardiac care, stroke care, joint replacement, and women and children’s services.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Some college preferred
• 2 years experience required; 1 year healthcare registration experience preferred
• 35 words per minute typing speed
• ER Experience preferred

Schedule

• One 6-hour shift: 12AM–6AM Wednesday
• Three 12-hour shifts: 6PM–6AM Thursday, Friday, Saturday
• 40 hours per week
