Registrar - Patient Registration - Part Time - Evening

About the role

Part-time position responsible for patient registration and providing excellent customer service in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Register patients accurately
• Verify insurance information
• Complete check-in and admission procedures
• Conduct financial discussions with patients
• Validate patient identity
• Assist with documentation
• Answer department calls
• Escort patients as needed
• Perform clerical duties
• Adhere to confidentiality policies and ensure system accuracy
• Comply with all organizational policies and perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• At least 1 year of customer service experience
• Healthcare experience preferred
• Knowledge of Patient Rights, HIPAA, and Medicare guidelines preferred
• Must be able to handle physical demands of the role and work in a patient-facing environment
• On-site position with remote work guidelines for work environment setup
