Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT)

We’re looking for a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) who is compassionate, skilled, and excited to make a meaningful impact every day. In this role, you’ll use your education and licensure to support our veterinarians in delivering the trusted care, exceptional medicine, and warm client experience All Creatures is known for.
Responsibilities
- Use your full RVT skill set under general or indirect supervision, including:
- Administer anesthesia, including induction, IV sedation, maintenance, and recovery
- Perform dental prophylaxis
- Establish open airways and assist with resuscitative oxygen procedures
- Administer resuscitative drugs in emergency situations
- Prepare (or supervise preparation of) patients for surgery
- Auxiliary veterinarians in diagnostic, medical, chemotherapeutic, immunologic, and surgical procedures
- Perform external suturing
- Prepare patients for surgery
- Assist veterinarians in diagnostic, medical, chemotherapeutic, immunologic, and surgical procedures
- Perform cardiac and respiratory monitoring
- Apply bandages, temporary splints, and bleeding-control procedures
- Collect specimens and perform laboratory procedures
- Provide emergency stabilization when an animal is in a life-threatening condition
- Safely and compassionately handle and restrain animals
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment
- Educate pet owners with warmth, clarity, and confidence
Requirements
- A degree in veterinary technology and current RVT licensure (any state welcome)
- Strong technical skills and a desire to keep growing
- Confidence with anesthesia, dentistry, imaging, and hands-on patient care
- Emotional intelligence, empathy, and excellent communication
- A calm, focused presence during emergencies or unpredictable moments
- A teachable, humble, team-oriented spirit
- A love of organization, cleanliness, and smooth clinic flow
