Registered Veterinary Technician General Practice

About the role

Great Lakes Veterinary Specialists is seeking a talented, experienced General Practice Registered Veterinary Technician, RVT to join our growing hybrid hospital team full time.

Responsibilities

• Physical examinations, patient assessment
• Procedural anesthesia monitoring and recovery
• I.V. fluid administration and C.R.I. calculations
• Hands-free radiology and diagnostic imaging
• Client communications and discharge

Requirements

• Positive attitude and excellent work ethic
• 3-4 years emergency experience preferred
• Self-motivated and able to think on your feet

Qualifications

• Credential as a veterinary technician (CVT, RVT, LVT)
• Experience with veterinary procedures and equipment
• Strong communication skills

Skills

• Knowledge of veterinary medicine
• Ability to handle stressful situations
• Effective problem-solving skills

Pay

$20 - $26 / hr based on skill set, experience, and licensure status.

Schedule

Potential Schedule: Full-time, variable, weekend rotation required.
