Join Animal Urgent Care (AUC Northeast), a brand-new 24/7 emergency veterinary hospital serving the Denver metro area. As an Emergency Veterinary Technician (CVT/RVT/LVT), you'll work alongside an experienced emergency team providing advanced patient care in a collaborative, fast-paced environment while making a meaningful difference for pets and their families.

Schedule

  • Full-Time
  • Sunday, Wednesday & Thursday
  • 10:00 AM–10:00 PM

What You'll Do

  • Perform treatments for emergency and hospitalized patients
  • Administer medications by multiple routes
  • Maintain accurate medical records
  • Communicate patient updates with clients compassionately and professionally
  • Assist with patient admissions, discharges, and medical documentation
  • Maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked treatment areas

What We're Looking For

  • Certified, Registered, or Licensed Veterinary Technician (CVT, RVT, or LVT) preferred
  • Provisional RVTs (pRVT) are encouraged to apply
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in emergency, surgery, or specialty veterinary medicine
  • Experience in a fast-paced emergency or multi-doctor veterinary hospital
  • Strong anesthesia monitoring skills
  • Experience calculating and administering medications and CRIs
  • Proficient in venipuncture and IV catheter placement
  • Knowledge of aseptic technique and surgical assistance
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to remain calm and organized during emergency situations
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
