VCA Durant Road Animal Hospital is hiring a full-time Registered Veterinary Technician to join their team in Raleigh, NC. The hospital is a 3-doctor full-service facility offering primary care, illness care, surgery, and dentistry services.
Responsibilities
- Physical examinations, patient assessment, and recovery
- Procedural anesthesia and monitoring
- I.V. fluid administration and C.R.I. calculations
- Hands-free radiology and diagnostic imaging
- Client communications and discharge

Qualifications
- Credential as a Veterinary Technician (CVT, RVT, LVT)

Skills
- Knowledge of veterinary medicine
- Ability to perform physical examinations
- Experience with anesthesia and monitoring
- Proficiency in IV fluid administration and C.R.I. calculations

Pay
$17.00 - $24.00 /hr based on skill set and experience.
Schedule
(5) 8 hour shifts, weekend rotation required.
What You'll Do
Whether you are a credentialed veterinary technician (CVT, RVT, LVT) or technician in training, you will utilize the knowledge you've invested in:
- Performing physical examinations, patient assessment, and recovery
- Administering procedural anesthesia and monitoring
- Administering I.V. fluids and C.R.I. calculations
- Conducting hands-free radiology and diagnostic imaging
- Communicating with clients and discharging patients
