The Northeast Indiana Veterinary ER & Specialty Hospital (NIVES) is seeking a full-time ICU Registered Veterinary Technician to join their dynamic team. NIVES is a 24-hour referral and critical care hospital located in Fort Wayne, IN, offering specialized care in Small Animal Surgery, Internal Medicine, Cardiology, and Critical Care Services.
Responsibilities
- Assisting DVMs
- Patient Restraint
- Advanced CPR training
- Intensive care nursing
- Anesthesia monitoring
- Blood draws
- Administering medications
- Radiology
- Client communication/patient discharge
- Interested in caring for patients with complex medical needs
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- VTNE and state license

Schedule
- Day Shift
- Rotating Schedule of 4 10-hour shifts and 3 12-hour shifts (6 AM - 4 PM and 6 AM - 6 PM)
- Every other weekend is required
- Holidays required
Compensation
Compensation is based on experience and skill level. Shift & weekend shift differentials are offered.
