Join us for a rewarding 13-week contract Echo Technician position in Springfield, IL. This role immerses you in a facility equipped with modern diagnostic technology and a dedicated, collaborative team. You’ll conduct echocardiograms, prepare and analyze diagnostic reports, and collaborate directly with healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient outcomes. The patient-to-technician ratio allows for high-quality, personalized care.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic echocardiograms and vascular sonography procedures
- Prepare patients for procedures and maintain precise records
- Prepare and analyze diagnostic reports
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
- Work with hospital EMR systems to manage patient data
Requirements
- Certification as a Registered Vascular Sonographer
- Experience performing echocardiograms and diagnostic imaging
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Experience with diagnostic equipment and patient data handling
Qualifications
- Experience in a fast-paced or hospital-based setting (preferred)
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Strong communication skills
- Experience with advanced cardiac imaging techniques (advantageous)
