The Role: Registered Ultrasonographer
Location: Missoula, MT
Type: FTE/Permanent
Responsibilities
- Involved with the day-to-day Ultrasound Department operations located within Diagnostic Imaging.
- Performs diagnostic medical sonograms both general and vascular.
- Provides quality patient care.
- Affords responsibility for all ultrasound services offered.
- Communicates effectively with patients, coworkers, lead sonographer, manager, Radiologists, providers, and all other clinic/hospital staff to ensure the highest quality of care to our patients.
- Affords assistance to the Core Leader in meeting department goals and objectives.
- Performs basic/complex general and vascular ultrasound exams and procedures.
- Provides optimal assessment and diagnostic exams for neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
Requirements
- Graduate of an Ultrasound program accredited by the Joint Review Committee for Radiologic Technology Education (JRCRTE) or equivalent education/experience.
- Upon hire: National Certification from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography or National Registered Technologist - Sonography.
- Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
Qualifications
- 2 years' experience.

- 40 Hours per Week, 1.0 FTE, Day Shift
