Responsibilities

• Screen patients prior to exam
• Assist the patient in completing electronic paperwork
• Obtain medical history from the patient
• Escort the patient to the changing room and ensure they are dressed appropriately for the exam
• Escort patients to and from the mobile MRI or exam room
• Assist the Technologist in preparing the MRI table (coil selection, changing linen, etc.)
• Start and remove IVs
• Maintain linen inventory
• Research availability and obtain reports and images requested by Radiologist
• Serve as liaison between the Technologist and Radiologist
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Phlebotomy certification, Certified Medical Assistant certification through AAMA or NHA, Registered Medical Assistant certification through AMT or ARMA, or ARRT registered in (R), (MR), (CT), or (M)
• CPR certification

Preferred:

• Minimum 0 – 2 years of experience

Coverage as needed in Winston and surrounding areas.
