MedQuest Imaging, a trusted partner of Novant Health, is seeking a Registered Technical Assistant to join our growing Mobile MRI Team. As a member of our mobile team, you'll help bring high-quality diagnostic imaging services directly to communities across the region while supporting MRI operations at multiple healthcare facilities. This role is ideal for candidates with patient care experience, including performing venipuncture and starting IVs. What You'll Enjoy Working in a dynamic, mobile healthcare environmentVariety in your day-to-day responsibilities and work locationsThe opportunity to support patient care across multiple communitiesCollaborative team environment10- and 12-hour shiftsMileage reimbursement and travel support when applicable Responsibilities Screen patients prior to examAssist the patient in completing electronic paperworkObtain medical history from the patientEscort the patient to the changing room and ensure they are dressed appropriately for the examEscort patients to and from the mobile MRI or exam roomAssist the technologist in preparing the MRI table (coil selection, changing linen, etc.)Start and remove IVsMaintain linen inventoryResearch availability and obtain reports and images requested by RadiologistServe as liaison between the technologist and RadiologistOther duties as assigned Qualifications Education: High School Diploma or GED requiredPhlebotomy certification, Certified Medical Assistant certification through AAMA or NHA, Registered Medical Assistant certification through AMT or ARMA, or ARRT registered in (R), (MR), (CT), or (M) requiredCPR certification required Prior Experience Minimum of 0 – 2 years of experience Company Message About MedQuest Imaging Founded in 1996, MedQuest is one of the most experienced outpatient imaging providers in the United States.
