Registered Sleep Technologist - Virtua - Voorhees, NJ
Responsibilities
- Facilitating tests and collecting data
- Preparing equipment, recording activities, and analyzing results
- Following proper polysomnographic procedures including the use of electrodes, sensors, calibration of equipment, and fitting of airway pressure masks
- Analyzing (scoring) of clinical events, such as respiratory and cardiac episodes, and tabulating final data to be submitted for further review
Requirements
- Must have RRT, RPSGT, or CRT in state of NJ and/or have the ability to get a temporary licensure while working on full licensure
- Completion of an accredited Polysomnography program
- Certified by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist ("RPSGT") or certified as a Registered Respiratory Therapist
- Current BCLS certification
Job Requirements
- Pay range: 40-50 per hour DOE with appropriate licensure/experience
- Physical Demands: Regularly stand, walk, and sit, talk and hear. Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Schedule
This position will provide sleep services on a Full time basis from 8:00PM-6:00AM.
