Registered Sleep Technologist - Virtua - Voorhees, NJ

MedBridge Healthcare is seeking experienced RPSGTs or RTs to work at a sleep lab in the Virtua sites in Voorhees, NJ area. Positions available: PRN, part-time, and full-time. Bonus up to $10,000 depending on employment status. Must have RRT, RPSGT, or CRT in the state of NJ or the ability to obtain temporary licensure while working toward full licensure.

About the Role

This full-time position provides sleep services from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM. Competitive hourly rates are available, depending on experience and patient ratio.

Responsibilities

• Facilitating tests and collecting data
• Preparing equipment, recording activities, and analyzing results
• Following proper polysomnographic procedures including the use of electrodes, sensors, calibration of equipment, and fitting of airway pressure masks
• Analysis (scoring) of clinical events, such as respiratory and cardiac episodes, and tabulation of final data to be submitted for further review
• Ensuring compliance with regulations and laws concerning safety control

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited Polysomnography program
• Certified by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) or certified as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
• Current BCLS certification
• Vaccination and immunization records or titers may be required

Pay

Pay range: $40-$50 per hour, depending on experience and appropriate licensure.

• Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus
• Required to use hands to operate office equipment
• Must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
